These are beautifully cast & weighty with intricate detailing and inscribed on the back of each bookend: ‘The Geisha Girl’ in English and in Japanese
The aged patina on these is a beautiful mellow bronze with a well worn matte finish;
note: one bookend has slightly more wear than the other

These bookends are likely by ‘Pompeiian’ who produced a line of cast bookend products in the early 1920’s and ‘The Geisha’ was one of a series of six different Japanese themed
