original rustic carry / hanging string / dating from early 20th century
Best for light use / display due to the age of the basket; would be beautiful perched on open shelves in the kitchen or with branches, as shown *basket has nice flat bottom and allows for a vessel to be placed inside with water
Over time the finish has aged to a beautiful dark brown; the imperfections indicate age and confirm it is a hand crafted basket as does the absence of glue or staples
