Beautiful antique biscuit barrel (or sugar?) with a nickel plated collar, removable lid with finial & slim swivel handle, marked EPNS & bottom stamped with maker mark and Number B4986 | WILLIAM WOOD & CO., which ran from 1873-1932
A striking hand painted blue & orange full coverage Imari design; with gorgeous gold leaf decorative over painting | and this piece has it’s own co-ordinating spoon with floral
enamelled handle
4.5” D x 4” H / 6.25” H with handle up| 2.5” D at opening
In excellent vintage condition, as found; light wear to silver rim commensurate with age
