Large antique woodland sport scene… set in its original ornately carved wood/gilt frame
under original wobbly (old) glass with original wood backing - SO LOVELY!
This old lithograph pointer print is signed ‘W. Haines’ and is named ‘Awaiting Orders’.
There is a number slightly obscured in the lower left… best guess is that it is an antique print of a Haines oil painting; likely from the mid to late 1800’s as Haines lived from 1778 - 1848
This piece places us by the water, likely on a hunting outing with two sporting pointer dogs
27” W x 22.5” H x 1.5” D
In excellent antique condition, as found ***for it’s age***
Please note some blemishes to existing gilt frame, but extremely charming *see photos
