Antique biscuit jar or tea caddy; with beautiful silver plated lid & unique twist handle!
Inside is lined with glazed white earthenware
A very unique piece that feels a bit art deco and a bit chinoiserie!
I suspect piece is quite old; it has a silver hallmark stamp which is hard to make out; maybe ‘GBHK’
8.5” H with handle x 6” W x 3.5” D at opening
In very good vintage condition, as found; with no chips or cracks; some tarnishing to silver as is expected with age
