Original carved textured gilt wooden frame with Victorian convex glass | back paper has been replaced but hanging wire appears to be original | Art is in excellent condition
Jacob van Ruisdael was a well known Dutch painter & etcher who was considered the
pre-eminent landscape painter of the Dutch Golden Age… a period of great wealth and cultural achievement when Dutch painting became highly popular
This artwork has it’s original label from William Taylor Son & Co., which was a successful department store in Cleveland during the early 1900’s; opening in 1913 so this piece would date from that time
10.75” W x 8.75” H x 1” D framed
In excellent antique condition, as found | artwork is ready to hang
