W HARTLEY'S ANTIQUE STONEWARE MARMALADE CROCK

$84.00

This is a gorgeous antique stoneware marmalade crock by W Hartley dating from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s with original maker mark inscribed on the bottom:
’Not genuine unless bearing W Harley’s Label’

We’ve had others, but I particularly love the colour of this one, a gorgeous stony greige; handmade, this jar would have held jam or marmalade and had a paper seal tied around the top

These work so well as a collected grouping & look particularly attractive as a group on top of an armoire or mixed in with other decorative items on counter or open shelves; doubling as planters for small kitchen herbs

5.5” H x 3.75” D
In excellent condition, as found; dry & soil free, ready to use | inconsistencies to finish are to be expected with these old jars
